Work in progres, past work and more!!!

I managed to make a really big bag modeled on the previous mini bag .
It is very lightweight because I did not put the middle layer (bating) in it. She is large and roomy inside, had two pockets oh the sides and two different flowers on each side. I used up on old silky fabric and the lace curtains.

This my almost forgotten beauty who faithfully follows me at the fairs.
My first attempt to work with such a small details. For a beginer it is not bad but there are space for improvement. This bag I started yesterday. I could not resist and I bought this beautiful  black / roses  fabric. It is a very strong fabric and is perfect for medium bags. Still in progres......        

I need color

Today is cloudy day, waiting to fall again, the rain.
So I need a bit of color, actually a lot of color and light.
I did some digging through my stuff and quickly made ​​a few pictures, which will bring some color to this day!

New backpack

I have not had time for sewing and I was not in the mood to begin to do something new. I planned to make a few big bags per sample to the  small that I made as a decoration. I calculated that it takes around 2 m for each bag, and I don`t have thet much in stock and I can`t buy now so much material.
Somewhere I heard the saying "necessity is the mother of invention" and it`s very true and not a cliche! So I took what I had and started to sew and the result of it is a jeans backpack with lace curtains!!!
Nice little bag, very simple but cute!

The heart I tried to point out with two coats of bating, but my quilting turned out bad ( I don`t have a quiltingfoot)  and everything is a bit stretched. The second time I have more experience because I know what I did wrong.

Plans for the next fair

I made a quick bag that I did not like it much. Design seemed ideal for a bag when I bought it, the color
green with a little yellow, but the final result was not good.

- I made a small wallet for coins, keys ... of the same material as the small bonus work.
















 Several women at the fair was thrilled with my mini bags and suggested me to make such large.

Tourism Fair in ethno village

I was long preparing for my first appearance at the fair.
I did not sell much, but I spent a wonderful two days with many wonderful women in a very pleasant environment.
I did not know what all hands can create. Jewelry from "wire",  delightfully painted wooden items, painted glass .... I'll let the pictures speak for themselves!
In addition to all this, we were able to enjoy the outstanding environment of the ethnic villages.

At the end of the second day we went for a walk through the village. In one of the wooden huts we found some beautiful scenery!
The cat was so calm and tolerated us the visitors with dignity and a touch of arrogance, like a queen!

Works from before 2 or more years

Today I do not have time to sit in front of the computer, but I wanted to show my larg works, bed-quilts.

- Quilt for my daughter. There are dozens of different fabrics and the background is a soft pink fabric.

- This is my favorite and most beautiful work in general.
My mom got from abroad real patchwork fabrics, very expensive for my requirements but beautiful!
I combined the beautiful colors of materials with gray flax and I think the result is very good.

I apologize for the quality of the image but I does not manage to find the time to make new, better quality!

Too much sewing today!??

There's no such thing as too much sewing!!!!! Of that I'm completely convinced.
