Wokr with leather

In the closet I found an old leather jacket. I took it to the cleaners and now I have a beautiful soft and pleasant leather to work with it. Since then I made two bags from her.
I was afraid that I would not be able to sew leather but turned out to be as easy as solid cotton or linen.
I already have some ideas for smaller bags ...........we'll see!

New XXL Bag

I made some more bags.
These special pieces of denim fabric I've kept gathering for a special project. Finally I decided for this shape and size of the bag. It is very spacious and is not at all heavy.

I had a lot of small pieces that are plush rest of a unfinished (still not finished) quilt. Of course I had to make of this scraps one more bag.Very simple but beautiful.

This was a big kit that I made a few years ago. I added him handle and turned it into a beautiful bag.

Brown denim fabrics with golden ons and lace of the same color.
Small but I can put in her keys, tissues, lipstick ..............

Beautiful shining denim fabrics (skirt in a previous life) transformed into a smaller case.

These are my first attempts to put on a tin can and a cardboard box in the shape of a heart in denim fabrics.

I am in love with jeans

For a long time I did not have the opportunity or the will to do something,
 but I am now back with a lot of ideas.
The possibility of making thousands of fantastic things of old blue jeans and other solid materials is a great motivation.

A new belt

A neighbor showed me an old belt buckle of which she want to make a new belt, from old blue jeans.
I offered to sew him, and she was pleased with the result.

two summer bags

Last week, I started to collect all kinds of linen fabric and I managed to get a pair of hand-woven towels. Armed with these treasures I began to sow. To short a long story , the work process was exciting and interesting like the final result.
I think these two summer bags are perfect for every occasion! I love them!

 Here I added and a little crocheted flower that I was saving for a special project

 

Both are spacious and fairly lightweight.

 

In the first bag I took for the inside a thin, light jeans fabric and sew on linen pocket on it. In the second bag I picked up a brown cotton and white linen and combined pockets of them.

 Another detail: pearl button, a flower and a little amateur embroidery.

roses and a bag, again

This wonderful material I decided to spend to the last inch.
I combined it with a dark blue flax, and each side I quilted differently. The result is not bad but there are room for improvement!

                                                                              

Inside I put two pockets, all in various shades of blue.                                                                        

In the end, just to show what is currently on my shoulder when I go somewhere!

It's a reversible bag. There is no batting, just two layers of fabric with a pocket and a button.














Another reversible bag that has not received the attention it deserves!
